This past weekend, my cousin, Merri Ellen got married. She was sweet enough to ask Mitchell to participate in the special day as ring bearer. He was great all weekend long and we are so proud of him. He did walk down the aisle, numerous times at the rehearsal, after we told him he would get a present every time he did. It was touch and go right before the wedding. I thought he may not perform, but once he saw the flower girls throwing out petals, he decided he wanted to help and followed behind. For every petal he/they threw, he jumped over it all the way down to the pulpit! We enjoyed the weekend and it was most rewarding to watch his cute little self be part of the center of attention!
